Liberty County

The Natural Choice for Nature Lovers

Peace and solitude is the name of Liberty County’s game, with a population of just over 8,000 and more than ample space to get away from it all. Traverse the sprawling Apalachicola National Forest, ripe with opportunities for swimming, boating, hiking, biking and fishing.

But that’s not to say that Liberty County doesn’t offer strong communities, as well. The Liberty County School District supports students their pathways to adulthood, whether it leads to college or to a highly employable field. The county also believes in supporting its veterans and offers ample support for housing.

In Liberty County, you can connect and disconnect at will, without feeling the need to constantly be plugged in.
